Best Facial Hair Removal Gel to Buy in 2020
1. Veet Gel Hair Removal Cream Sensitive formula with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E
Veet hair remover works very well and it does not work just on the face, you can use it anywhere on your body.
It comes with a little spatula to use to smooth it on and remove it. It is very easy to use. Use the spatula to smooth it on and cover all the hair that you want to be removed and then wait five minutes. After five minutes, use the spatula to remove a small area to see if it removed the hair. If it did, remove the rest of the cream with the spatula and then rinse. If it has not removed the hair yet, leave it on for another five minutes and then remove it.
It leaves your skin soft and smooth. I really liked Veet over other hair removers I have tried and it works for both men and women.
2. Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal (Fine to Medium Hair Kit)
Okay, I have to admit this is expensive but it works very well and leaves me hair free for weeks at a time.
It is important to use the balm to pre-treat your skin so it does not get irritating, yes it can still get red, but that goes away after a little while. Smooth on the remover and leave it on for six to eight minutes and then remove with a tissue, rinse and pat dry. If you have thicker hair you can leave it on a little longer, but they say no longer than ten minutes.
I can get about twelve treatments out of this kit before I have to buy more and it gets rid of all of my upper lip hair nicely. My skin does get a little red after treatment but it calms down within thirty minutes. I would definitely recommend.
3. Sally Hansen Hair Remover (Wax Kit for Face, Brows & Bikini)
These little wax strips work well for your upper lip, I have not tried in other areas. I was very happy with the results since I read that some people had issues of redness lasting a long time after use.
It is very easy to use. First, make sure the area you are using it on is clean and dry. Warm the strip up in your hands for a few minutes, hold the area of the skin you are using on so it is firm and not saggy, smooth the strip firmly on the skin and then hold it for about thirty seconds and then quickly remove the strip. There will be some redness after removing the strip, mine lasted for about thirty minutes and then you could not tell I had used it.
It does a very good job and it can last for up to eight weeks before you have to use it again, I definitely recommend you give it a try.
4. Moom Organic Hair Removal Kit (Tea Tree)
Moom is for those that like all-natural products. Moom works just as well as a professional wax you get done in the salon and last just as long too.
Warm up the wax in the microwave, it only takes a few seconds. After it is warmed up, smooth it on with one of the applicators in the direction of your hair growth, apply the fabric strip where it is nice and smooth and then pull the strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth. Rinse off any excess that may still be on your skin and then you are good to go.
It is really easy to use and I love the fact that the applicators and strips are washable so they can be reused instead of always having to buy more. It works on just about any area of your body.
5. Parissa Chamomile Sugar Wax (Cold Wax)
For those that still prefer wax over cream, this wax is for you. This kit gives you everything you need to remove that unwanted hair and leave your skin silky smooth.
First, you will need to warm the wax, then use the spatula to apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of hair growth, press on one of the strips, holding the skin taught quickly pull off the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Once done, rinse off the area to get rid of excess wax and apply the after-care oil. Works very well, just as good as getting it done in the salon and leaves my legs silky smooth.
6. Surgi Cream Hair Remover for Face
Surgi-cream works great and leaves my skin soft and hair free. It is very simple to use, they even give you a little tool to apply and remove the cream.
Apply the cream with the little tool, make sure it is a thick layer covering all the hair on your upper lip, leave on for four minutes and then use the tool to remove the cream. Once you remove the cream, rinse the area with warm water and pat dry and then use the surgi-smoothe cream to alleviate any redness or burning.
The redness went away within thirty minutes for me. If you have thick or stubborn hair you may want to leave it on a little longer than four minutes but not too much longer. It works very well and I only have to use it about once a month.
7. Nair Hair Removal Cream for Face with Special Moisturizers
Nair Hair Removal Cream works well on thin sparse hair on your upper lip. It is said that it can be used on the upper lip, chin, and cheeks but I only used it on my upper lip and it seems to work well.
It is simple to use, just slather on a thick layer over the area and hair, making sure you have it all covered, leave it on for five minutes and then wipe (do not rub) with a damp cloth, rinse and then you should be hair-free.
If you have thick hair, you may have to leave it on a little longer, but not to leave it on for more than 10 minutes. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to test a small area before using it just to make sure it does not irritate your skin.
I had no problems with it and it worked well for me.
8. AVON Fresh & Smooth Hair Removal Cream
I just love Avon products and this hair remover did not disappoint! Just like their facial hair remover, this one works on your whole body and leaves you smooth for weeks.
It is very easy to use and leaves your skin nice, smooth and hair free. Just cover the hair in a nice thick layer of the cream and let sit for about five minutes and then wipe the cream off and then rinse. If you find that it did not remove all the hair, you may need to leave it on a little longer but do not leave it on for more than ten minutes.
Five or six minutes usually work for me, but if your hair is on the thick side you may want to try to leave it on longer. It leaves your skin smooth and hair free for a few weeks until you have to use it again.
9. Avon Skin Soft Facial Hair Removal Cream
This facial hair remover by Avon works very nicely and does not have a strong odor as some removers do.
It is simple to use, first make sure your skin is clean and dry, put on the cream and make sure all of the hair is covered, let sit for about five minutes, remove with a damp cloth and then rinse. It is that easy.
You may notice a little redness where you used it, but that should go away within fifteen minutes or so. If you have thick facial hair you might want to leave it on a little longer, but they say not to leave it on for more than ten minutes.
Works well on my sensitive skin and leaves my upper lip nice and smooth for weeks.
10. GiGi Hair Removal Cream for Face with Slow Grow Soothing Cream
GiGi hair removal cream works great and leaves my face hair-free and smooth.
GiGi is very easy to use, just apply a thick layer of the cream above your upper lip, making sure that all the hair is covered, leave on for five minutes and then wipe it away with a damp cloth. Rinse the area and pat it dry and then apply the soothing cream. It is that simple, only a few minutes and you are done.
The soothing cream really works to soothe the skin after using the product and the redness went away after about fifteen minutes. I was skeptical that the soothing cream said that it slows the regrowth of hair, but it really does work! other creams I have tried, I have had to use them after a few weeks, with GiGi I can go almost a month and a half before having to use it again, it is great.
